Cotswold Cutlass was established in 2012 by Kevin Nelson to encourage participation in sport fencing within and around Gloucestershire, it operates as a satelitte organisation of Cotswold Fencing Club. Our aims are to promote the sport of fencing through enjoyment, encouraging all ages and abilities.
Kevin is enhanced DBS checked, has current first aid & safeguarding certificates, and is registered with British Fencing, the National Governing Body of Sport Fencing, and also works in a number of schools teaching fencing within the county.

Down Ampney Club
We meet in the Village Hall at Down Ampney
Thursdays in school term time
7pm to 8pm for 7 to 14 years old
8pm to 9pm for over 14 & adults.
We normally fence Sabre

Overbury Club
We meet in the hall at Overbury First C of E School
Mondays in school term time.
7pm to 8pm for 7 to 14 years old
8pm to 9pm for over 14 & adults.
We normally fence Sabre.

Cotswold Fencing Club
We meet at the GL3 Hub in Churchdown on a Wednesday throughout the year including the school holidays.
U10's between 6pm and 7pm who fence Foil.
U14's Between 7pm and 8pm who fence Foil.
U18's between 8pm and 9pm who can fence Foil, Sabre or Epee.
Adults between 8pm and 10pm who can fence Foil, Sabre or Epee.
The last Wednesday of each month is our club competition.
Cotswold Fencing Club runs Beginners courses 3 times a year at Churchdown.
The next Cotswold Fencing Club Beginners course starts on 4th October 2023.
